Marano di Isera: a gem in the province of Trento
Hello everyone! Today, I'll be talking about Marano, a small village in the municipality of Isera, in the province of Trento. First of all, let me reveal a bit of history.
History
Marano was an independent municipality, established in 1920 following the annexation of Tridentine Venice to the Kingdom of Italy. However, in 1929, it was incorporated into the municipality of Isera. Interesting, isn't it?
But that's not the only fascinating fact about Marano. In fact, in the locality of Coré, Roman artifacts have been found since the first half of the 19th century. It's a Roman necropolis, which still has visible traces today. Isn't it amazing that such a small place can hold so much history?
Monuments and Places of Interest
Speaking of interesting things, I recommend visiting the Church of San Pancrazio, which serves as a parish for the village. It's a beautiful building that deserves a visit: maybe you could take advantage of a Sunday morning to attend Mass! ;)
Note
Although it's just a fraction of Isera, Marano is a true gem of the province of Trento.
Other projects
I recommend visiting the website of the municipality of Isera to discover other beauties that the area can offer.
