How to get to Grumello del Monte
Grumello del Monte is located about 19 kilometers east of Bergamo and can be easily reached by car. If you are in Bergamo, you can take the bus No. 8, which will take you directly to the center of the town.
By train, instead, you have to get off at the Palazzolo sull'Oglio station and from there take the bus to Grumello del Monte.
What to see in Grumello del Monte
In addition to the Gonzaga Castle, there are other interesting places to visit in Grumello. For example, the parish church dedicated to Saints Fermo and Rustico, dating back to the 14th century.
If you like walking, you can take a hike to the Cascades of the Serio River, which are only a few kilometers from the town. From here, you can admire the spectacle of water falling from the mountains, creating a breathtaking view.
