History of Gravedona ed Uniti

Gravedona ed Uniti is a relatively young municipality, created in 2011 by the merger of the three previous municipalities of Consiglio di Rumo, Germasino, and Gravedona. Despite the negative result of the consultative referendum held on November 14, 2010, where the "no" to the merger had prevailed in the two major municipalities, the new municipality was still founded thanks to the Regional Law No. 1 of February 10, 2011.
