Gorga: a village immersed in nature

Hello everyone! Today I want to take you on a journey to discover Gorga, a small town in Lazio immersed in nature. With just 686 inhabitants, this village offers a tranquil and relaxing environment, perfect for those who want to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Physical geography

Gorga is located in the metropolitan city of Rome Capital, within the mountain group of the Lepini Mountains. Its main feature is the plateau, on which the Monte San Marino rises, reaching a peak of 1,387 meters above sea level. The territory is characterized by extensive karst phenomena, including the Campo di Caccia cave, the subject of an exploration and study project called the "Lepinia Project."
