Although Casatico has always been a small and quiet hamlet, its population has increased in recent years.

One of the fundamental landmarks of Casatico is the church of Saint Andrew the Apostle, built in the 15th century. Until March 25, 1978, it was the seat of the local parish. Today the church is still a place of worship open to faithful and visitors.
