The Teramo-Giulianova railway is a single-track and DC electric train of 3,000 volts. Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI) takes care of the integrity of the infrastructure, equipped with Train March Control System and Centralized Traffic Control.
The Central Operating Manager based in Pescara is responsible for the whole line. The Electric Axle Counter Block circulation system allows a maximum speed of about 120 km/h.
