Frosinone Calcio is an Italian football team based in the city of Frosinone, currently playing in Serie B. Founded for the first time in 1906, its origin is conventionally traced back to 1928, with its second affiliation to FIGC and the first significant competitive activities.

The Beginning of Frosinone Calcio's Story

On March 5, 1906, lawyer Leone Vivoli, future mayor of Frosinone, founded "Unione Sportiva Frusinate." The objectives of the constituent act included the spread of various sports, among which football was explicitly included. On March 14, 1906, "Il Messaggero" reported that a sports club in Frosinone had been created, chaired by lawyer Leone Vivilo. Over time, the team has had its ups and downs but continues to represent the city of Frosinone with pride. Its presence in modern football, during its thirty years of football activity, has made it one of the oldest and most prestigious teams in the region.

National Titles of Frosinone Calcio

Frosinone Calcio has won two national championships of Lega Pro Seconda Divisione (Serie C2 1986-1987 and Serie C2 2003-2004) and two of Serie D (Serie D 1965-1966 and Serie D 1970-1971).
