Over the centuries, the hamlet followed the events of the Republic of Genoa and then of Liguria, until 1859, when it passed with the entire province of Novi from Liguria to Piedmont to the province of Alessandria, by decree Rattazzi. Today it is part of the hamlets of Fraconalto.
