Church of San Lorenzo Martire

The Church of San Lorenzo Martire is the main monument of Pizzolano and represents the heart of the religious life of the village. It is located in the center of the village and is dedicated to San Lorenzo Martire. The church was built in the 14th century as a votive chapel of the Barbuti convent. In the 15th century, it was rebuilt with the current shape and size. Today the church has a decorative structure with 16th-century frames and pilasters, while in the 17th century, additional ornamental elements were added such as frames, capitals, side altars, and groups of cherubs on the side arches and on the apse wall.

Chapel of the Santissima Annunziata

The chapel of the Santissima Annunziata is located in the historic center of the village and represents another religious place in Pizzolano. If you are looking for moments of peace and reflection, the chapel could be a place for you.

The religious celebrations that are held every year are the festival of San Lorenzo, on August 10th.
