Filighera

Welcome to Filighera, a municipality in the province of Pavia!

Filighera is a welcoming municipality in the plain of the Pavese, with a population of around 820 inhabitants. The name of the municipality comes from the local dialect "Flighéra", but it was known as "Felegaria" in the 12th century. The history of Filighera

Filighera was the seat of an ancient rural church of the diocese of Pavia and, in the 15th century, became part of the squad of the vicariate of Belgioioso. In the 18th century, the municipality of Beatico was merged into Filighera, which became part of the squad of the Vicariate of Belgioioso. In 1871, the suppressed municipality of Montesano was also merged into Filighera.

Filighera is governed by an administrative council consisting of "IDEA COMUNE PER FILIGHERA", whose mayor is Alessandro Pettinari, the deputy mayor is Michele Grossi, and the councilor is Davide Protti. Other groups such as "IL PORTONE" and "VIVI FILIGHERA" are also present.
