Boara
Welcome to Malborghetto di Boara!
If you're looking for a small, peaceful town to visit, Malborghetto di Boara might be the right place for you. This geographic fraction of Ferrara has a population of approximately 4,500 and is located in the Ferrara district. Its name may derive from a smaller village considered poor and isolated during the Middle Ages.
The Town
Malborghetto di Boara is divided into two settlement areas: the historical village, located north of the road that runs west-east from Ferrara towards Boara and Copparo, and the modern district called Villaggio Primavera, located further west near a road leading to Francolino. Although it is a small locality, it covers a few square kilometers and forms a belt of settlements with the Borgo Punta district and the Pontegradella fraction.
How to Get There
To reach Malborghetto di Boara, you can use public transport on the number 7 bus line, which connects it to the city of Ferrara. Alternatively, suburban transport connects it to Francolino. The service is managed by Trasporto Passeggeri Emilia-Romagna.
What to Do
Every year, usually in June, the ROCKaFè is held, a rock music festival attended by groups from all over Italy for the past ten years. If you find yourself here during that time, it would be an interesting experience to live.
