Faver

Hello friends, today we are talking about a delicious Italian municipality called Altavalle, located in the beautiful autonomous province of Trento, in Trentino-Alto Adige. It became a municipality in 2016 after the merger of Faver (the municipal seat), Grauno, Grumes and Valda.

History

The new ZIP code 38092 is used for Altavalle and replaces the old 38030. This came into effect on April 18, 2016.

Monuments and places of interest

Altavalle hosts numerous religious architectures, including the beautiful Church of the Conversion of Saint Paul in Valda, the Church of Saints Philip and James in Faver, the Church of Saint Lucia in Grumes, the Church of the Madonna of Caravaggio in Masi di Grumes and the Church of Saint Martin in Grauno. All these churches are a testimony to the rich history of the area.

The demographic evolution of Altavalle has been very interesting. Since 2016, the year of its establishment, the municipality has grown to reach its 1629 inhabitants.

The administration of Altavalle is highly organized and effectively manages the territory. The merger of the four territories has led to the creation of a strong and cohesive municipality.
