The history of the Municipality of Faggeto Lario

The municipality of Faggeto Lario was created in 1928 by combining the municipalities of Molina (Faggeto Lario) and Palanzo in the municipality of Lemna. In the past, Molina had been annexed to the municipality of Torno and Lemna and Palanzo had been aggregated to the municipality of Pognana Lario. However, this decision was canceled by the Restoration.
