Hello everyone! Welcome to Drizzona, a beautiful hamlet of the municipality of Piadena Drizzona in the province of Cremona, Lombardy. About 563 people live here and were involved in an important event that took place in 2019, but we'll talk about that in a moment.

History

Drizzona has an ancient history dating back to the Lombard period. Over the centuries, numerous churches have been built, such as the Church of San Lorenzo, whose bell tower is 45 meters high. In 2018, Drizzona participated in an important consultative referendum that led to the merger with the municipality of Piadena, giving rise to the new municipality of Piadena Drizzona.
