Hello everyone! Today, I'm going to talk about the Province of Catanzaro, one of the most beautiful provinces in Italy. With its capital city, Catanzaro, this province has a population of approximately 340,679 inhabitants and is located in the Calabria region.

Physical Geography

The Province of Catanzaro is surrounded by marvellous beaches and is bounded on the west by the Tyrrhenian Sea and on the east by the Ionian Sea. The central part of the territory is characterized by the isthmus of Catanzaro, an area of 30 km that connects the two coasts, from the Gulf of Squillace to the Gulf of Sant'Eufemia, and is the narrowest point of Italy. Don't forget to bring your camera: some parts of the province will allow you to see the Tyrrhenian Sea, the Ionian Sea and also the Aeolian Islands in the same shot!
