Meano

Hello everyone! Today I want to talk to you about Meano, a beautiful hamlet of the municipality of Corzano, in the province of Brescia. Once it was an independent municipality, but in 1805 it was merged with Corzano.

History

If you are a history enthusiast, know that there is a lot to discover here. For example, in 1610, Giovanni da Lezze described in detail the territory of Meano.

Redevelopment project

But to the present: recently, a project for the redevelopment and reuse of the ancient village was presented. The proposal is very interesting: the goal is to establish artistic activities in the village and recover ancient traditions and crafts. With great satisfaction, I can tell you that the first step has been completed: the new square and multi-functional space inside the former kindergarten have already been realized.

Meano, the village of Corzano that is reborn.

Environment and landscape

The landscape of Meano is predominantly agricultural: if you love nature, you will find a true paradise here. Among other things, in the territory of Meano and Corzano there are numerous springs that give rise to streams and canals, such as the Provaglia canal that starts from Corzano and reaches Monticelli d'Oglio.

Notes

I remind you that Meano is a hamlet of Corzano, so if you decide to visit this area, you could take the opportunity to discover the rest of the municipality as well.

Other projects

In short, there is no denying it: Meano is a wonderful place, which continues to surprise and evolve. I can't wait to discover what other projects will be for the future of this beautiful hamlet!
