Fractions: Civè

Civè is one of the fractions of Correzzola and has a very ancient history. In fact, it already existed in Roman times under the name "Civitas". The territory was reclaimed by the Monastic Order of Saint Benedict over the years, until it became a parish in 1189. Some of the historic monuments of Civè include the former rectory, probably dating back to the 1600s, and the bell tower, whose lower part dates back to the founding period of the parish dedicated to Saints Donato and Sigismondo. Also worth mentioning is the "Festa dea Panocia", which takes place in the first three weeks of September, and the "sagra del Carmine", which takes place on July 16.

Fractions: Concadalbero

Concadalbero is another fraction of Correzzola, known for the cathedral gymnasium called "Tana delle Tigri", where the first volleyball team of Codevigo trained during the 2011-2012 season of the third division of female volleyball in Padua. This fraction also has the Palazzetto dello Sport, used for the practice of numerous sports.

Fractions: Villa del Bosco

Villa del Bosco is one of the most populous fractions of the municipality of Correzzola, with a history dating back to the Roman era. The name of the fraction originates from a settlement built on the edge of a forest that characterized the territory at that time. In 1129, thanks to the reclamation work of the Benedictine monks, this area became a fertile and productive place. The Church of Saints Nicolò and Rocco, built around the 12th century, has been renovated over the centuries and is now an important place of worship in the area. The square that hosts it is dedicated to the fallen of the "Vittorio Veneto" battle (World War I). Among the structures present in Villa del Bosco are a nursery and primary school, while the middle school is located in the capital.

Fractions: Brenta d'Abbà

Brenta d'Abbà is a small fraction of Correzzola, with an interesting history behind it. The municipality has been governed by various mayors over the years, including Mauro Fecchio, who is currently leading the municipal administration.

Conclusions

In general, Correzzola is a very interesting and welcoming municipality in Veneto. With its ancient history and numerous activities and entertainment options available to visitors, this city is certainly worth a visit for anyone who has the chance to do so.
