Discovering the geography of the area
Commezzadura is a scattered municipality that extends over several hamlets. The hamlet of Mestriago, the seat of the municipality, is located at 850 meters above sea level and is bordered by the Noce stream. Daolasae and Almazzago are the neighboring hamlets to Mestriago, both at an altitude of 855 meters. Here, some of Commezzadura's most famous ski slopes can be found, accessible via the Daolasa lift system.
With its 103 inhabitants, Mastellina is an important hamlet from an artistic point of view as it houses Casa Guardi, the birthplace of the painter Francesco Guardi. Sitting atop a hill at 799 meters above sea level.
Piano, with its 274 inhabitants, is instead an important craft center, located on an alluvial slope at 858 meters above sea level.
The town of Costa Rotian, located on the slopes of Mount Spolverino, is a popular residential or vacation center during the seasonal periods. Thanks to its strategic location, it is easy to reach Campo Carlo Magno, Madonna di Campiglio, Dimaro, and Folgarida.
Finally, the hamlet of Deggiano is located on the same slope as Mestriago and Piano, but at a similar altitude to that of Costa Rotian.
