The history of Lavagna

The history of Lavagna dates back to 885, the year in which the village was first recorded as "Levania". Over the centuries, Lavagna has been incorporated into other municipalities such as Comazzo and the Lombardo-Veneto Kingdom. In 1841, Lavagna was definitively merged with the municipality of Comazzo.

In this hamlet it is possible to admire the Oratory of San Biagio in Rossate, a splendid Renaissance work, and Villa Visconti.
