Hello everyone! Today we will talk about a beautiful municipality in the province of Vercelli, Piedmont: Civiasco.

History

Civiasco, called Civiasch in the Valsesia dialect, is not only a small municipality of 232 inhabitants, but also has a long history behind it. The municipality's coat of arms was granted in 1961, while the gonfalon is a blue-colored cloth.

Society

Civiasco has undergone several demographic transformations over the years, going from a population of 953 inhabitants in 1861 to 232 in 2021. Despite its small territorial extent, the municipality has managed to maintain a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere, where residents know and help each other.

Culture

If you are passionate about history, you cannot miss the Civic Museum "Ercole Durio da Roc", founded in 1903 by the namesake founder. The museum is located inside the suggestive Town Hall and is an interesting collection of artifacts and handicrafts that narrate the history of the surrounding territory.

Like every Italian municipality, Civiasco has a municipal administration that takes care of managing the activities of the territory in an efficient and transparent manner, providing all the necessary services to the residents.
