The municipal territory of Cissone covers an area of 6.41 km² and extends between 417 and 682 meters above sea level. The capital is located at an altitude of 661 meters and is an ideal place for those seeking peace and direct contact with nature.

Border with other cities

Cissone borders to the west and north with Roddino, another small hamlet nestled among the hills, to the east with Serravalle Langhe, a municipality known for its famous medieval castle, and to the south with Bossolasco and Dogliani, two important cities in the Langhe region for the production of high-quality wines.

The demography of this small village has undergone several changes over time. In 1861, the population was 631 inhabitants, while today there are only 81 people living in the area. Cissone is an administrative fraction of the municipality of Dogliani since January 1, 2018.
