However, given the conformation of the municipal territory, temperature and precipitation can vary significantly in some areas of the territory. Temperatures can be higher in the northern part of the municipal territory and lower in the south and east, while precipitation can be lower in the northern zone and higher in the eastern and southern areas.

Economy

The economy of Cinigiano is mainly based on agriculture and the production of oil and wine. In particular, the wine production of Cinigiano boasts the controlled designation of origin Montecucco.
