Administration

Like many other villages, Cimego has undergone various administrative changes. It was established as an Italian municipality in 1920 following the annexation of the Trentino region to the Kingdom of Italy, but in 1928 it was added to the municipality of Condino. In 1946, it was reconstituted, again detached from the municipality of Condino. Finally, in 2016, it was incorporated into the new municipality of Borgo Chiese.
