The medieval town of Cerretto Langhe can boast of a strong castle with four towers, which belonged to the Marchesato di Gorzegno family. Over time, the fief passed to the Marquises of Susa in the 12th century, then to Lord Bonifacio di Savona and finally, in 1142, to the Marquise of Ceva and Cortemilia with the castle.
