Let's begin our chat with the Art section. Here, we'll talk about two paintings with identical names: San Nicola di Bari. These are works by two different painters: Carlo Crivelli and Mattia Preti. The first is a painting attributed to Crivelli and is located at the National Gallery in London. The second is a painting by Preti kept at the National Museum of Capodimonte in Naples. Both are beautiful paintings and are representative of Italian art.

There's the Island of San Nicola, which is part of the Tremiti Islands archipelago, and the islet of San Nicolò in Croatia, along the western coast of Istria. There are also many Italian hamlets with this name, such as San Nicola di Centola in the province of Salerno, San Nicola di Melfi in the province of Potenza, and San Nicola a Caulonia in the province of Reggio Calabria. Finally, there are city districts like San Nicola in Bari and San Nicola in Avezzano in the province of L'Aquila.
Saints
Saint Nicholas is known primarily as the patron saint of sailors but is also a much-loved saint. In fact, there are a number of saints who bear this name. The most famous is undoubtedly Saint Nicholas of Bari (also known as Saint Nicholas of Myra and Santa Claus), the patron saint of many cities both in Italy and abroad. Then there's Saint Nicholas of Antioch, Saint Nicholas of Tolentino, Saint Nicholas of Flüe, Saint Nicholas the Greek, and Saint Nicholas the Pilgrim, all saints of the Catholic Church. Another very important saint is Saint Nicholas II of Russia, also known as Nicholas Romanov, the Tsar of Russia and a saint of the Russian Orthodox Church. Additionally, there is also a duo of saints, Saint Nicholas and Trano the Anachorite, celebrated together on June 4th.
Other
Last but not least, the Other section, where we mention the San Nicola stadium, located in Bari. This stadium was inaugurated in 1990 and has hosted numerous football matches, including international games. A stadium definitely worth visiting if you're in Bari!
