Celle Enomondo

Welcome to Celle Enomondo!

Hello everyone! Today I want to talk to you about Celle Enomondo, a small municipality located in the province of Asti in Piedmont. About 470 people live here, but despite this, the village has many interesting things to offer.

Society

Celle Enomondo: discover the Piedmontese town between history, sports, and natural beauty.

Demographic evolution

Let's start with the demographic evolution of the village. In recent years, the population has remained fairly stable, but during the 19th and 20th centuries, there were several moments of growth and decline. For example, between 1921 and 1931, the population increased by 28.8%, while in the 80s there were moments of decline mainly due to the decrease in births.

Infrastructure and transportation

Celle Enomondo is a fairly isolated village and does not have great connections with neighboring villages. However, there have been attempts in the past to improve the situation. For example, between 1882 and 1935, the village was served by the Asti-Canale tramway, which allowed connecting Celle Enomondo to other villages in the area. Unfortunately, this transportation line was closed many years ago, but there are still some old photos that testify to its existence.

Administration

Let's now move on to the administrative history of the village. Below you will find a table with all the administrations that have succeeded over the years.

Sports

Despite the small size of the village, Celle Enomondo has a very active and passionate football team: Colline Alfieri Don Bosco! The team has a rather legendary history, although it currently plays in the amateur divisions of Piedmont. However, this does not detract from the passion and commitment of the guys who make it up!
