Cellarengo

Cellarengo: A Municipality Rich in History and Culture

Hello friends! I want to tell you about a beautiful Italian municipality: Cellarengo. This town, located in the province of Asti, in Piedmont, is home to 709 people and preserves a very rich historical and cultural heritage.

History

If you are passionate about history, I recommend visiting Cellarengo. This municipality has ancient origins and its name differs in Piedmontese dialect: "Slarengh". Its inhabitants have always distinguished themselves for their independence and strong sense of community, so much so that they participated in the Piedmontese revolution of 1821. Regarding Cellarengo's symbols, the banner features the town's coat of arms, consisting of a circle with a golden cross and a cornucopia, symbol of the fertility of the land.

Cellarengo: History, Society and Culture in Piedmont.

Society

The municipality of Cellarengo has been enhanced by the birth of numerous associations and initiatives dedicated to the territory and the welfare of the community. Its demographic evolution has been constant in recent years, thanks also to the presence of young people who have decided to settle in the town. Among the institutions, organizations, and associations present in the Piedmontese municipality, I want to introduce you to the "My Wine" Association. Founded in 2010, this association is composed of members from different parts of the world and is dedicated to the recovery and enhancement of native vineyards.

Culture

Cellarengo also has a strong architectural and artistic culture. In 2015, the VASS School was founded, a training school for professionals in the construction sector. The architecture competition launched the first edition of this school, which over the years has developed and enriched thanks to the contribution of professionals from all over the world.
