Territory
The territory of Cazzano Sant'Andrea is perfectly hilly and is located in the Val Gandino, on the left bank of the Serio river. It is about 24 km northeast of the city of Bergamo and is part of the Mountain Community of the Seriana Valley.

On the borders of Cazzano Sant'Andrea, there are Gandino to the south, where the Barzizza fraction is located, and Casnigo to the east. This latter boundary was added in the medieval period to create a buffer zone between the two communities, in order to suppress disputes and rivalries.
