The History of the Municipalities in Brianza
Brianza is a rich territory filled with history and traditions. Historically, it was identified with municipalities located between the Lambro River and the Adda River and, in the fifteenth century, it had its own territorial political structure with particular tax concessions from the Duchy of Milan. Later on, its meaning expanded to include the entire Martesana area in common language.

There are different versions of the exact boundaries, but the municipalities in the Brianza territory have a common history and, despite their differences, represent a unique and fascinating reality to discover and enhance.
