Castelletto d'Erro
Introduction
Hello everyone! Today I'll talk about a small Italian municipality located in the province of Alessandria, in Piedmont: Castelletto d'Erro. Its strategic location and its millenary history make it an interesting place to discover.
History
Castelletto d'Erro is a municipality that dates back to the 13th century. In fact, at that time the castle was built to control the Via Aemilia Scauri. If I go back in time with my mind, I can almost hear the footsteps of the travelers who traveled that road. Over time, this municipality has been the scene of important historical events, which have contributed to shaping its identity.

Symbols
The municipal coat of arms, although not officially granted yet, represents a tower, that of the castle, built in the 13th century, and the gonfalon, a blue-colored drapery, a symbol of peace and serenity.
Society
Demographic evolution
In the last 90 years, the Municipality has suffered a strong decrease in population. This is a sad and worrying fact that should make us reflect on the development policies of the territory.
Administration
Here is a table summarizing the administrations that have succeeded in the Municipality.
Other administrative information
Castelletto d'Erro was part of the Suol d'Aleramo Mountain Community, but for organizational reasons it later became part of the Colli Tortonesi Mountain Community.
