Castellazzo Novarese
Welcome to Castellazzo Novarese
Hello everyone! Today we will talk about a small Piedmontese town that may not be well-known but certainly deserves a visit: Castellazzo Novarese. This village, with a population of only 315 inhabitants, is located in the province of Novara.
Physical geography
Castellazzo Novarese is located on the border between the Novara plain and the hills. The territory is crossed by various waterways, among which the most important is the Alto Novarese branch and the Ospedale or Fara Novarese canal, which receives water from the Mora canal. The town is about 15 km from Novara, 37 km from Lake Maggiore and 25 km from Lake Orta.
Monuments and places of interest
Despite its small size, Castellazzo Novarese offers visitors the opportunity to admire its cultural and artistic heritage. The church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary is the main place of worship in the town and certainly deserves a visit. It is a simple but very suggestive church, with a tall and slender bell tower that dominates the landscape.
