Vittadone

Welcome to Vittadone!

Hello everyone! Today I will talk to you about Vittadone, a beautiful hamlet of the city of Casalpusterlengo, located a few kilometers north of the city.

The history of Vittadone

The history of Vittadone dates back to 1039, when it was first documented. The municipal territory included the hamlets of Buongodere and Muzzano. During the Napoleonic age (1809-1816), Vittadone was a hamlet of Casalpusterlengo, but later regained autonomy until the unification of Italy in 1861, when it had 749 inhabitants. In 1929 it was definitively incorporated into Casalpusterlengo. Unfortunately, like many rural areas, Vittadone has been depopulated and currently has only 246 inhabitants.
