The patron saint of the village is the Madonna Assunta and the patronal feast is celebrated on August 15th. Among other popular traditions, there is the traditional grape festival that takes place every September, during which it is possible to taste local wines and typical products of the area.

Inside, visitors can admire the fresco of the Madonna with the Child and San Rocco, a work by the painter Zignano. Another place of interest is the parish church of Santa Maria Nascente, built in 1833 on the ruins of the ancient parish, destroyed by the earthquake of 1802. The church features a beautiful marble altar, decorated with baroque-style sculptures.

One curiosity about Casalnoceto is that the village was chosen as a set for the production of the film "La trattativa", directed by Sabina Guzzanti and released in cinemas in 2014. The film tells the story of the fight against the Mafia and the attempts to reach an agreement between the Italian State and the Mafia itself.
