Carditello is a municipal hamlet located in the suburb of Cardito, on the outskirts of the metropolitan city of Naples. It is a fairly populous area, with about 10,156 inhabitants. The village is connected to the capital city through a provincial road and is also connected to Frattamaggiore and Afragola, forming a single conurbation with them.

Along the provincial road that connects Carditello to the capital city, there is the large municipal villa known as the "Parco Taglia," formerly known as the "Vasca Taglia." The territory of Carditello is also situated along the former provincial road Fratta-Afragola, which has now transformed into a fully urbanized street known as "Corso Italia." This street intersects with the state highway 87 Sannitica, at the entrance of the territory of Afragola.

The parish church of Carditello is dedicated to the saints St. Joseph and Euphemia of Chalcedon, and inside, there is a statue of St. Anthony of Padua, the patron saint of the village. It is the only church present in the hamlet of Carditello.
