There are many churches to visit in Cappella Maggiore, starting with the parish church of Cappella, dedicated to Saint Mary Magdalene, a neoclassical structure built in the 19th century, developed from the original 15th century building. Noted for its two adjacent facades. The church of Anzano, on the other hand, is dedicated to the martyr saints Vito and Modesto and was built in 1771. Don't miss the altarpiece by Francesco da Milano, dating back to the early 16th century. The church of the Most Holy Trinity, on the other hand, is an ancient Lombard structure located in the heart of the town.

Cappella Maggiore has a very diverse and international community, with 5.8% of the population made up of foreign citizens. As of December 31, 2017, the foreigners residing in the municipality were mainly from the Republic of Macedonia, Romania, Albania, Morocco, and Ukraine.

Cappella Maggiore twinned with another municipality, but the name of the municipality was different until 1867.
