Candiolo is a small Italian town located in the metropolitan city of Turin, in Piedmont. Over the years, the population of Candiolo has almost tripled, reaching 5,639 inhabitants. Candiolo is a place rich in history and places of interest, such as the Church of San Giovanni Battista, which dates back to the eighteenth century. In the Stupinigi nature park, you can admire the medieval castle of Parpaglia, while near the municipal border are the Stupinigi hunting lodge, in the hamlet of Nichelino, and the historic Vinovo racecourse, located in the hamlet of Garino.

In the past, Candiolo was also served by the Torino-Piobesi tramway. Currently, the municipality can be reached via the 35N line of the suburban bus network. At the Candiolo station, there is also a track owned by Ambrogio Trasporti, with a freight yard for logistic services by rail and tire at a regional and interregional level.
