Cadorago Station: a secondary railway stop for the municipality of Cadorago

History
This railway stop was born from the transformation into a railway, activated back in 1898, of the pre-existing Como-Fino-Saronno tramway. As you can imagine, over the course of all these years, the station has undergone numerous expansion and improvement interventions, to ensure an increasingly efficient and modern service.
Facilities and installations
The station is equipped with two side platforms, covered by metal canopies. These offer shelter to passengers in case of rain or scorching sun. The station is also easily accessible by car, but if you want to avoid traffic, you can use the train.
Services
Cadorago Station offers various services, such as the automatic ticket office, which allows you to conveniently purchase tickets for the scheduled trains. Additionally, the station also houses a National Guard post which ensures the safety of people inside the station and its surroundings.
Movement
The plant is served by regional trains carried out by Trenord as part of the service contract concluded with the Lombardy Region. For this reason, it is possible to reach Cadorago from many other destinations on the railway line.
Since 2018, the station has also become the site of a permanent National Guard post under the command of the Provincial Command of Como. This has further improved the efficiency and safety of the station, which represents an excellent reference point for travelers who decide to use the train as a means of transport.
