History
Also known as Casanova d'Offredi, this Cremonese hamlet boasted about 250 inhabitants in the mid-18th century. However, it was during the Napoleonic domination that Cá Nova d'Offredi underwent a change. With the unification of Italy in 1861, the hamlet had 348 inhabitants and remained an autonomous municipality until 1868, when it was annexed to the municipality of Cà d'Andrea. In recent years, in 2019, this municipality was in turn annexed to Torre de' Picenardi.
