The history of Gudo Gambaredo

The name Gudo Gambaredo may derive from the union of "acutus" (sharp) with shrimp. The municipality of Gudo Gambaredo in 1811 was incorporated into the municipality of Corsico and then in 1841, in an inverted way, the union with Buccinasco, together with Rovido and Romano Banco, was proposed again. Shortly after the Unification, in 1866, the municipality of Buccinasco had, at the borders of the time, 924 inhabitants, divided as follows: Buccinasco Castle 192, Gudo Gambaredo 193, Romano Banco 165, Rovido 135, scattered farms 239.
