Tamai
The Tamai Sports Club is an Italian football team based in Tamai, a fraction of the municipality of Brugnera. Founded in 1973 by Gigi Verardo, the team initially participated mainly in evening tournaments among company teams. After consolidating the group and becoming familiar with the various steps to participate in a real championship, Tamai affiliated with FIGC and registered for the Third Category Pordenonese. The team achieved its first promotion in history by winning the Second Category in 1979. The white and red team achieved two further promotions until reaching the highest regional championship, Eccellenza, in 1991. The team's stay in this new level of the Italian football championship lasted five years, as at the end of the 1996-1997 Eccellenza championship, the team achieved promotion to Serie D.

Tamai's social colors are white and red. The team plays home games at the Comunale stadium. Currently, it plays in Eccellenza Friuli Venezia Giulia. The team has twenty participations in Serie D in its assets, with the highest result being second place.

The history of the Polisportiva Tamai Amateur Sports Association dates back to 1973. The early years in the Third Pordenone Category were quite fluctuating. The team consistently improved its performance until 1979 when it won the Second Category. In the '80s, Tamai played several seasons in the Second Category Friuli Venezia-Giulia, reaching second place in 1983.
Tamai's Achievements
The Polisportiva Tamai has achieved many successes in its history. After reaching Serie D in 1997, the team returned to Eccellenza in 1998 and won the regional championship in 2000-2001, achieving promotion to Serie D in 2001. The team maintained its Serie D category until the 2019-2020 season when it was relegated to Eccellenza. Since the 2020-21 season, Polisportiva Tamai has played in the Eccellenza Friuli Venezia Giulia championship.

Tamai's fans are very passionate. Despite the difficulties encountered by the team, they always support the team until the end. During home matches, the Comunale stadium is always crowded with fans who enliven the stands in hopes of a win for the white and red team.
