Donna Station: history and structures

Hello friends! Today I want to talk to you about Donna Station, a train stop that was located along the Turin-Genoa Railway line, in the municipality of Boscomarengo. Donna Station was inaugurated back in 1884 and served the eponymous hamlet.

Over the years, the station underwent various transformations and saw the passage of many travelers and goods. However, passenger service was suspended in 1993 while the stop was abolished in 2008.

But despite its closure, Donna Station has left an indelible mark in the history of the local community and railway transport.

The stop had two platforms serving the two railway tracks. These were used for the transit of passenger and freight trains that connected Turin to Genoa and vice versa.
