Valcanale also boasts three water sources that are considered drinkable by a well-known company in the sector. The locals also speak of a legend regarding a particular spring, located about two hundred meters underground, whose water is believed to have the power to cure any illness.

This church preserves a precious icon by Fantoni, which contains the 15 mysteries of the rosary and the 14 stations of the Via Crucis, created by Trento Longaretti and recently restored.

The patron saint of Valcanale is Saint Margaret of Antioch, the protector of farmers. Her feast is held every August, and in the past, it was a much-awaited moment for migrants who returned to the hamlet on this occasion. In addition, on August 14th and 15th, the Assumption of Mary is celebrated.
