Territory

The province of Cosenza is the fifth largest in Italy and the largest in Calabria, with an area of 6,650 square kilometers and a population of 668,992 people. Situated on the western coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the eastern coast of the Ionian Sea, it borders Basilicata to the north and the provinces of Catanzaro and Crotone to the south.
